I'm new to the Linux world, but i have learned a lot since i learned the existence of it and kicked out Windows from my life. Everyone needs to know that Linux is not hard, everything is learned, no matter what it is. You have learned to use windows, you have learned to use macOS, why you can't learn an new OS? Be persistent.
The first time i met Linux was with Ubuntu, It's very simple to use, even your grandmother or a little child can use it. Like I said, everything is learned. If your computer is weak, there are others distros based in ubuntu, like Xubuntu and Lubuntu.
If you're tired of using the easyyyy distros and want to go deeper into this, I would recommend Debian and Fedora. But if you want something more cool, you should use Void(Void is my waifu), Arch(or Artix, I don't like Systemd and if you don't like too, very cool) and even the famous Gentoo. I have learned a lot using Void linux, mainly with Gentoo, I'm using Gentoo at the moment.
There are more distros that i can recommend, but these are the best in my opinion. Have a good day.
